Mabuhay from the warm Philippines! It is beautiful here, especially the sunrise behind the Temple each morning, and the blue, blue skies, and white fluffy clouds! We did have a little rain this past week, which was nice, things were getting a little dry! It was so good to hear from some of you! I love when I look on the email and there is email! Yea!
We have had a great week! Richard works steady with the Mission Presidents, the AMA's (medical staff), the travel department, the area Presidents, the MRC and Elder Nelson! He amazes me that he can keep all the missionaries apart, and the mission Presidents apart, and every travel arrangement, and every approval he sends out! He is also getting pretty good on the computer! When I look at what he does, it kind of reminds me of my temple coordinating, and he would look at what I did, and say it all looks confusing to me, and that is how I feel, about what he does! We have been getting up at 4:00 AM to be at the office by 5-5:30, so he can get some work done before he gets so many interruptions, also so he can call Salt Lake for conference meetings he has with the IRF 's there! What I have always admired about Richard, as he served as Bishop, in the Stake Presidency, and Mission President, is he somehow leaves the work at the office, and I never know he is even troubled! Just a happy man to have around, and I love him and grateful to be his companion!! On Wed. the FM are setting up an office in our new apartment, which will be so nice!
We moved today! It took 3 hours to get one apartment closed and the other one opened and working with the Broker, and the Realtor on staff here! We packed our suitcases, all 4 big ones, and walked them over to our new apartment, which included walking through the Mall across a couple of streets, and the Mall Court! I laughed at us as I was trying to keep up with Richard pulling our heavy loads! What a riot! We also carried our food in bags, and carry-on luggage! It only took 3 trips, and was kind of fun! We still have a lot of things in the car, that we need to unload!
I think we are really going to like our new apartment! It is seriously so clean! However our bags, are all laying on the living room floor, as we needed to get back to the office!
This week I have gotten some new assignments, travel group have asked me to interview, the Philippine missionaries going to the US embassy, because of a mission call to a foreign country, and also explain to the missionaries who will be leaving for the foreign countries or to the Provo MTC, what their travel arrangements are and when they arrive and what they are suppose to do, and who will be there to help them, and I give them their pass port and Visa, and put all that information in a big brown envelope and give them their travel packet! I have observed this week, and it is fun! They are so excited and so sharp! They also have ask me to take the place of a Couple Sister that is going home and will work in the MTC, on incoming day! That will be every other Friday! I love it and we are having fun!
We are so excited for Tyler Allen, and his new call to Everett Washington, Spanish speaking mission! Most of all that he is well, and can go serve again! Can't wait for Elma's and Rex's news! It was good to see some of you this morning on Skype! Looked like you were all having fun! We love when you get together, and what a great surprise that Jameson is going to be a big brother! We love it! Angie and Jim 4 grandchildren! That is wonderful! I don't know when the little one is due, but he will be close to Jamesons age when we get home! Loved Julia, and Davis's e-mails, and Karma and Koyles, and to feel of their spirits, and the love they have and share as they are on Missions!
We love you all and hope you are all well and happy! Thanks for your prayers, and keep us posted!
